Kia ora Everyone, Mrs Longmore here, the new teacher for Room 2. I certainly hope you have had a lovely summer break and have been enjoying the sunny weather and some fun summer activities during your holidays.
I'm really excited to start teaching at Waihola District School and look forward to getting to know all of you.
To start off the term, I'd like to introduce a song that I really enjoy, and find inspiring about trying your best even when times get difficult called "Try Everything". It's from the Disney movie Zootopia and I think it's a great one that we can use to inspire us to always "Be the best we can be" which as you'll know is our school motto.
