Wood knot
On Sunday I found a wood knot in my
dad’s wood shed. It is the size & shape of a large walnut, smooth &
shiny like polished wood and has the small beginnings of a branch sticking out
of it. The branch is like a little wooden spike growing out of it. My dad said
he had never seen one like it. The children had never seen one either &
thought it was a little potato.
