Coralis Effect Experiment


We did an experiment with a drill and a pen to show what happens to hot air that rises as the Earth spins. We saw the marks on the cardboard were a spiral shape because the drill was spinning the cardboard around and around. This is called the Coralis Effect. We really liked the patterns that were made on the cardboard as it spun.

    No I didn't take a video of the experiment. We only took photos. That might be a good idea for next time.
